The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth in the assigned region by identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and managing relationships with government and key public sector clients. The role includes pipeline development, tender and bid management, and client engagement to meet regional sales targets.
Requirements
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with strategic and local partners.
- Achieve assigned regional sales targets and contribute to overall sales capacity enhancement.
- Collect market intelligence on countries, tenders, technology, pricing, and competitors.
- Build and maintain a strong lead pipeline within the region.
Partnership & Market Development
- Support the identification and selection of local business partners based on market analysis.
- Educate partners and clients on company technology and solutions via presentations, marketing materials, and site visits.
Government & Public Sector Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities and public sector organizations.
- Monitor and interpret tender requests, providing input on bid strategies and approach.
Tender & Bid Management
- Manage bid processes for identified opportunities, ensuring timely pre-sales support and proposal submission.
- Coordinate with internal teams to hand over awarded contracts with all project details
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain ongoing engagement with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
- Act as the liaison between client needs and internal teams, conveying feedback for product and service improvements.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, contractual, audit, and risk management requirements.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of internal policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with intellectual property and related processes.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide quarterly sales and market reports to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams on trade shows, marketing initiatives, and technology enablement

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably with a focus on public sector or government clients.
- Strong experience in tender/bid management and public sector engagement.
- Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and manage stakeholder relationships.

- Experience in technology solutions or enterprise solutions sales preferred
