Quectel is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module,
C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA (+) and GNSS modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business for non-cellular business units of all products and services including cellular, WIFI / Lora / Bluetooth / Satellite / GNSS /
- Antennas / ODM and PCBA
- IoT solution sales or business development experience is a great asset
- Building relationships with the key accounts in GULF market
- Work in cooperation with RSM/RSD in Region and PDM to define target list of accounts and opportunities to follow up together, directly or together with distributors to increase sales and market penetration.
- Work in close cooperation with product teams, distributors, and other sales managers & technical support team and involve the right people to secure design in's.
- Increase the number of opportunities visiting exhibitions, using available market maps, reaching the inside sales leads and webshop sales.
- Check and update CRM database for quotes, forecast and other relevant processes required.
- Ability to Work autonomously and should understand the market and technologies and follow technology developments
- Hunting spirit, frequent travel to meet customers
Qualifications
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in science, engineering, computer science or related field
- 35 years experience working with cellular modules / SoM Modules / WIFI/ BT/ Lora/ Zigbee from sales or application engineering role, ideally field based
- Experience of SOC and embedded application systems highly desirable
- Hunting spirit with focus on new business development
- Location within GCC region, preferably in UAE, Dubai, speak Arabic and English business fluent
