We are looking for a high-impact Regional Sales VP to lead and accelerate advertising revenue growth across the Middle East and Africa regions for premium international media brands including Euronews.
This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on developing long-term strategic revenues across TV, Digital and Content Partnerships, with a strong emphasis on government entities, major corporates, and regional media agencies.
The successful candidate will bring a strong regional network, deep understanding of the Middle East and/or Africa advertising landscape, and the ability to operate at C-suite and institutional level.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the regional sales strategy across the Middle East and/or African market
- Deliver ambitious revenue targets across:
- TV advertising
- Digital & programmatic
- Branded content & sponsorship
- Strategic partnerships and events
- Develop and manage a large portfolio of key accounts, including:
- Government institutions & sovereign entities
- Major regional corporates
- Media agencies and holding groups
- Build trusted senior relationships with decision makers across the region
- Identify new revenue streams aligned with regional priorities (nation branding, investment promotion, tourism, culture, innovation, luxury, finance)
- Represent the company at industry forums, government meetings and high-level client events
- Collaborate closely with editorial, product and marketing teams to develop market-relevant commercial solutions
- Coordinate with international sales teams to grow global and cross-regional clients
- Manage local sales partners, representatives and agencies where applicable
Profile & Experience
We are open to candidates coming from international TV & Digital media OR senior Digital Sales backgrounds, provided they demonstrate strong regional commercial influence.
Required experience:
- 10+ years in media sales, advertising or strategic partnerships
- Proven success selling digital and/or broadcast media solutions
- Strong existing portfolio and network across Middle East agencies (concerning Middle Eastern and/or African clients) corporates and government stakeholders
- Experience managing complex, relationship-driven sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to close high-value partnerships and multi-platform deals
- Deep understanding of branded content, sponsorship and integrated media solutions
- Experience working in international or matrix organisations is a strong plus
