The Regional Head of Sales (GCC) will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, nurturing client relationships, and elevating the representation footprint across the Gulf region.

Position Overview

The Regional Vice President / Head of Sales (GCC) is responsible for leading all commercial, business development, and client engagement activities across the Gulf region. This role is both strategic and hands-on, combining high-level market development with day-to-day sales activation, brand positioning, and relationship management.

The successful candidate will be a confident luxury sales professional with deep regional networks across the travel trade, hospitality, luxury retail, and lifestyle sectors. They will bring a strong understanding of the luxury consumer mindset in the GCC, a passion for travel and brand storytelling, and a proven record of driving market share growth for global hospitality or travel-related brands.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Market Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy for the GCC, aligning with global business objectives and client brand goals.
  • Identify emerging opportunities, market trends, and partnership potential within the region's luxury travel ecosystem.
  • Represent client brands across key luxury travel trade events, roadshows, and networking platforms in the Middle East.
  • Work closely with the Managing Director and APAC leadership team to develop long-term business growth strategies and revenue targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary commercial representative for client hotels, resorts, and luxury travel partners within the GCC.
  • Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with high-end travel advisors, luxury tour operators, private travel designers, and concierge agencies.
  • Ensure exceptional representation of each client's brand identity, narrative, and value proposition in all engagements and partnerships.
  • Provide regular feedback and market insights to client partners, supporting them with strategic recommendations and customized sales reports.

3. Sales and Revenue Performance

  • Drive sales growth and measurable revenue performance across all client brands represented in the region.
  • Monitor and analyze business production by market segment, channel, and source; identify areas for growth or improvement.
  • Generate qualified leads, secure high-value bookings, and oversee contracting with trade partners where applicable.
  • Collaborate with client sales and marketing teams to activate targeted GCC promotions and campaigns that yield ROI.

4. Brand Representation and Market Activation

  • Represent client properties and destinations at regional trade shows, exhibitions, and familiarization trips (FAMs).
  • Conduct sales calls, presentations, and training sessions with travel partners to enhance brand awareness and product knowledge.
  • Conceptualize and deliver luxury experiential events, private showcases, and joint marketing activities for top-producing agencies.
  • Ensure all regional brand communications and representations adhere to client standards and global brand positioning.

5. Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build and oversee a small but high-performing regional sales support team as the business scales in the GCC.
  • Collaborate closely with the global sales, marketing, and PR divisions to ensure alignment and synergy across all touchpoints.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company's values, service philosophy, and partnership culture within the Middle East.
  • Foster a data-driven, performance-oriented environment focused on client satisfaction, creativity, and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1012 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hospitality, travel representation, or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated success in managing GCC markets for international luxury hotel groups, tourism boards, or representation agencies.
  • Established network of relationships with key regional travel consortia, preferred partner programs, and UHNW travel advisors.
  • Strong understanding of cultural and commercial nuances across GCC countries.
  • Track record of exceeding revenue targets and developing new business pipelines.

Skills & Competencies

  • Deep passion for luxury travel, experiential lifestyle, and brand storytelling.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills; confident in engaging C-suite and HNW audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, sales analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the GCC and internationally.
