Role Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with DHA regulations, clinic policies, and evidence-based nursing practices. The RN supports physicians, ensures patient safety, and contributes to smooth clinical operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Record accurate patient histories, vital signs, and clinical observations
- Assist doctors during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed
- Perform wound care, dressings, and basic clinical procedures
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures
Patient Safety & Quality- Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and escalate concerns promptly
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities
Documentation & Compliance- Maintain accurate nursing and medical records in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with DHA guidelines, clinic SOPs, and policies
- Assist in preparing documentation for inspections and audits
Coordination & Support- Coordinate with doctors, laboratory, pharmacy, and administrative staff
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
- Support appointment flow and patient movement within the clinic
- Assist with inventory monitoring of nursing and medical supplies
Equipment & Infection Control- Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
- Follow sterilization, disinfection, and waste disposal protocols
- Report equipment malfunction or safety concerns immediately
Qualifications & Requirements- Valid DHA Registered Nurse license
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum 12 years clinical experience (clinic or hospital preferred)
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety standards
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (mandatory)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
