We're Hiring: Regulation Compliance & Research Officer

Location:Nasr City, Cairo, Egypt — On-site

Employment Type:Full-Time

Schedule:Flexible 8-hour shifts, mainly afternoon/evening

Organization:Windsor University USA — Washington, D.C.-based

Windsor University USA is looking for a detail-oriented, research-driven, and highly organized professional to join our Cairo team as a Regulation Compliance & Research Officer.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in education, higher education administration, compliance, accreditation, institutional research, policy writing, or regulatory documentation.

About the Role

The Regulation Compliance & Research Officer will support Windsor University USA's compliance, accreditation, research, reporting, and institutional development functions.

The selected candidate will assist with preparing documentation, reviewing policies, conducting research, supporting accreditation processes, and helping ensure that institutional materials are aligned with U.S. higher education standards and regulatory requirements.

Important Location Requirement

Because this is an on-site position, candidates must live within approximately 30 minutes of our Nasr City office.

Applicants who live too far from Nasr City or outside Greater Cairo may not be considered.

Important Experience Requirement

Candidates must have prior experience in the education field.

Applicants from unrelated fields with no education, academic, compliance, research, or institutional administration background may not be considered.

Higher Education Accreditation Background

A background in higher education accreditation is strongly recommended.

Candidates with experience or familiarity with accreditation bodies such as HELC, DEAC, ACCSC, or similar higher education regulatory/accreditation agencies will be strongly preferred.

Main Responsibilities

Compliance and Accreditation

• Support institutional compliance with applicable higher education standards

• Assist with accreditation documentation and evidence collection

• Support processes related to HELC, DEAC, ACCSC, and other applicable bodies

• Review institutional materials for consistency with regulatory requirements

• Help organize compliance files, records, and supporting documents

• Assist in preparing responses, reports, and documentation for reviews or audits

• Track required documents, deadlines, and follow-up items

Research and Reporting

• Conduct research on U.S. higher education standards, accreditation requirements, and best practices

• Prepare structured reports, summaries, and internal analysis

• Support institutional research projects and data collection

• Assist with documentation for audits, reviews, and institutional planning

• Summarize regulations and standards in clear, practical language

• Research comparable institutions, academic models, and compliance practices

Policy Development and Documentation

• Assist in developing, updating, and organizing policies and procedures

• Help ensure consistency across institutional documents

• Maintain accurate records of compliance materials

• Review documents for clarity, formatting, grammar, and accuracy

• Support the preparation of manuals, proposals, reports, and official communications

• Help organize institutional evidence for accreditation and regulatory purposes

Content and Communication

• Draft clear, professional, and accurate written content

• Assist with official communications, reports, proposals, and announcements

• Support structured content for marketing and student recruitment when needed

• Help review website and digital content for accuracy and professionalism

• Support content organization across digital platforms

• Assist with social media or digital communication tasks when required

Collaboration and Institutional Support

• Work with admissions, faculty, administration, and leadership teams

• Support institutional development and quality improvement projects

• Help ensure departments are following consistent processes and documentation standards

• Assist with research and development initiatives related to academic and operational quality

• Communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

Master's degree preferred

Prior experience in the education sector is required

• Strong English writing, editing, and communication skills

• Strong research and analytical abilities

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to interpret complex standards, policies, and regulations

• Ability to prepare professional reports and formal documents

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Professional attitude and commitment to accuracy, quality, and institutional improvement

Strongly Preferred Qualifications

• Background in higher education accreditation

• Familiarity with HELC, DEAC, ACCSC, or similar accreditation/regulatory bodies

• Experience in university administration or institutional compliance

• Experience preparing policies, reports, manuals, or accreditation documents

• Experience in academic quality assurance

• Experience in institutional research or regulatory research

• Experience with U.S. higher education standards

• Experience using Canva or similar design tools

• Experience with social media or digital content management

• Marketing, recruitment, or student communication experience
