Job Description

As the Regulatory Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the bank's regulatory compliance, especially in the Finance department. Your expertise and leadership will be vital in navigating the complex regulatory landscape and ensuring the bank's operations adhere to all necessary guidelines. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the bank's compliance and reputation.

  • Lead and manage the regulatory affairs and compliance function within the Finance department.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of accounting and regulatory guidelines, especially those relevant to banking institutions.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory representatives, including leading on-site and off-site supervision and inspections.
  • Ensure accurate and timely regulatory submissions, maintaining a high level of data integrity.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and their impact on the bank's operations, providing guidance and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory requirements and ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential regulatory issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Provide regulatory training and awareness sessions to ensure a culture of compliance throughout the bank.
  • Prepare and present regulatory reports and updates to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Oversee the implementation of regulatory projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the banking industry.
  • Strong background in accounting and regulatory guidelines, with a focus on banking institutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in regulatory reporting tools and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is essential for this role.
