This is not a back-office reporting role it's a frontline leadership position that shapes how the bank delivers trust, transparency, and control in a constantly evolving regulatory landscape.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Own the end-to-end UAE Regulatory Reporting framework from strategy and design to delivery and continuous improvement.
- Drive the regulatory reporting transformation agenda, ensuring the UAE's frameworks remain at the forefront of digital, automated, and control-led design.
- Act as the single point of accountability (SPOC) for major UAE regulatory deliverables (EWRA, BRFs, RBS, CBRB 2.0), ensuring quality, timeliness, and precision.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance to define strategic data and process enhancements.
- Oversee and challenge new regulatory requirements, ensuring the bank's control environment remains strong and forward-looking.
- Champion automation and digitization initiatives to streamline data collection and reporting across multiple Lines of Business.
- Lead governance forums and regulatory readiness reviews, giving senior management visibility on progress and assurance.
- Be the UAE representative voice in regional regulatory projects influencing design and control standards at Group level.

- Able to translate complex regulatory expectations into clear, efficient operational models.

- Comfortable in the details, but also visionary in driving change, simplification, and automation.
- UAE National passionate about governance, regulatory excellence, and digital transformation in banking.

Minimum Requirements
- Graduation degree is REQUIRED to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
- 610 years experience in Regulatory Reporting, Risk & Controls, or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory landscape.
- Proven track record in process improvement, automation, and cross-functional governance.
- Advanced Excel / Data tools (VBA, Macros, Power BI, Python).
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
