Reinforcement Detailer

We are Azizi Developments, one of the leading private developers in the UAE, with a growing portfolio of residential, hospitality, and landmark developments across Dubai.

As part of our continued development, we are establishing our Precast Factory in Sharjah and are looking for a Reinforcement Detailer to join our Design Production Team.

The Reinforcement Detailer will be responsible for preparing accurate reinforcement drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for precast structural and architectural elements across our development portfolio. The role will translate structural designs and calculations into production-ready reinforcement detailing, working closely with the Senior Reinforcement Detailer / Design Engineer, BIM Modellers, and Production Team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) for precast elements including columns, beams, wall panels, load-bearing walls, hollow-core and solid slabs, staircases, balconies, and connections.
• Detail reinforcement laps, anchorage, embedded items, and lifting inserts as directed by the Senior Reinforcement Detailer.
• Prepare bar schedules and material take-offs and verify quantities against design information.
• Update and revise reinforcement drawings and BBS based on design changes, RFIs, and consultant/client comments.
• Coordinate with BIM Modelers to ensure reinforcement details align with 3D models where applicable.
• Support the Production Team with technical clarifications related to reinforcement fixing and cage fabrication during manufacturing.
• Maintain reinforcement drawing registers and revision control.
• Follow applicable codes, project specifications, and reinforcement detailing standards.

Here's what you'll do

• Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, Detailing, or an equivalent qualification.
• Should have at least 3 years of detailing experience, including at least 2 years of reinforcement detailing experience in precast or cast-in-situ concrete.
• Experience in reinforcement detailing for Villas, High-rise, Hospitality, Mixed-use, Residential, or Industrial projects.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of reinforcement detailing practices, Bar Bending Schedules, laps, anchorage, and applicable standards.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret structural drawings and design information accurately.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Design, BIM, and Production teams.
