Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Prepare Treaty & Facultative financial settlements for Life/ P&C/Health
- Act as a front line in the communication between the internal departments (Underwriting, Claims, Collection & Accounting Departments), AXA Ceded Re & The external Reinsurers
- The Owner of the SOA & Premium Payment Warranty Processes
- Compute monthly reinsurance Premiums, RI Commissions & Claims (BAUs) & prepare the annual Profit share & Experience Refund calculation.
- Prepare payments through NPF; to ensure accurate accounting, reporting & settling of dues.
- Develop reports and reconciliations of accounts balances through monthly & Quarterly reconciliations internally with the accounting department and externally with the Reinsurers
- Report to the Regulatory Affairs Department the FRA required Reinsurance Reports on Quarterly & Annually basis
- Manage the Inward/Outward facultative process including Reconciliation with internal & External stakeholders for Life / P&C business
- Responsible of the M&D settlements on a half year basis. & premium Adjustment end of year for Life / P&C
- Follow Internal controls processes of the Reinsurance Department
- Support their manager and Team in any additional assigned or required task
Job Specifications
Education / Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, Faculty of commerce or related field.
Job Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Basic Insurance Knowledge Life & Health
- Basic Technical Reinsurance Knowledge
- Advanced Accounting
- English fluently spoken & written is a must.
- French/Spanish or Deutsch is a +
- Microsoft BI is a +
