Chedid Re, a company of Chedid Capital, is looking for a Senior Broker - Liability. The role involves performing brokerage activities within the Liability line of business, including reviewing and analyzing submissions, negotiating with insurers and reinsurers, managing renewals, and supporting placement activities.

Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate underwriting data management across offers, submissions, and finalized accounts within internal systems for reporting, tracking, and reference purposes, while maintaining complete and up-to-date files.
- Review and analyze submissions, identify gaps or discrepancies, gather market intelligence, and prepare underwriting information, proposals, and pricing components to support cedants and reinsurers in decision-making.
- Manage renewals and placements end-to-end by re-engaging markets for improved terms, identifying suitable reinsurance capacity, and preparing and issuing renewal notices and submission requests in a timely manner.
- Lead negotiations with reinsurers and binders to secure optimal terms, commissions, and conditions, ensuring firm orders are placed, slips are signed, and cover is confirmed and bound.
- Coordinate closely with cedants, reinsurers, and internal teams to follow up on quotes, resolve issues, manage capacity, ensure compliance checks, and handle mid-term adjustments and endorsements.
- Maintain and develop reference accounts and benchmarking tools by risk type, while promoting Chedid Re's services and providing technical advice to support business development and client servicing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Insurance, or related field.
- Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) certificate is preferred.
- 2-4 years of insurance/reinsurance broking experience in the UAE.
- Fluent in English, Hindi preferred.
