Relationship Manager, Commodity Structured Trade Finance

Job Summary

We seek a Relationship Manager for a banking client's Commodity Structured Trade Finance Department to manage corporate client portfolios, structure credit facilities, and ensure compliance while driving business growth through strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand the bank's corporate client portfolio to increase business opportunities
• Acquire new clients by evaluating their financial profiles and structuring appropriate credit facilities
• Perform credit assessments and cash flow projections to support informed lending decisions
• Prepare detailed credit reports to assess and mitigate credit risks effectively
• Conduct thorough KYC checks to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
• Resolve client queries promptly to maintain high client satisfaction and trust
• Collaborate with local and overseas internal teams to align efforts with business objectives
• Execute additional projects or tasks as assigned by the Head of Department or management

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• Minimum 3 years experience managing corporate banking relationships
• Experience in syndication, trade finance, or commodities sector
• Strong credit writing and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively
• Proactive, energetic, results-driven mindset with strong business acumen
