Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage relationships with corporate clients and take accountability for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement
- Acquire new Corporate clients in line with approved department strategies
- Apply for necessary credit approval and book approved transactions. Enhance overall business through cross sell
- Ensure preparation of compelling proposals that will meet the bank policies and customer needs and negotiate their acceptance
- Ensure appropriate risk analysis and risk/returns assessments is carried out to recommend timely remedial actions, wherever appropriate
- Proactively manage relationships with customers and take personal responsibility for the establishment and maintenance of key relationships to leverage business achievement
- Regularly review account performance and make appropriate recommendations for optimizing returns
- Ensure compliance with the bank's approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organization's and customer's interests
- Manage a team of competent relationship managers and their performance to deliver targeted results and high levels of service
Required Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate banking (coverage)
- Comprehensive understanding of various banking products, including treasury and capital markets, cash management, and trade finance
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain quality & relationships
