Job Description

About the Role:

The role involves managing and expanding a portfolio of Business Finance Liability relationships, ensuring full compliance with the bank's policies, ethical standards, and code of conduct. It also includes responsibility for opening and maintaining Business Accounts in line with regulatory and internal guidelines.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Achieve the assigned sales and service targets while operating within the bank's approved risk parameters and compliance standards.
  • Identify, acquire, and crosssell new liability and transaction banking accounts, ensuring timely activation and funding of the accounts.
  • Ensure full compliance with the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and customer duediligence criteria at all times.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the customer portfolio to identify potential business opportunities, deepen relationships, and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and maintain a designated portfolio of business clients by understanding their needs and delivering solutions aligned with the bank's service standards and value proposition.
  • Adhere strictly to the Staff Code of Conduct, maintaining a professional and positive image of the bank in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by providing accurate information, expert guidance, and timely resolution of customer queries to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks or duties assigned by the line manager to support departmental efficiency and overall business objectives.
  • Ensure all internal processes and controls are followed diligently in accordance with the bank's operational guidelines and audit requirements.
  • Foster effective coordination and communication with peers, operations teams, and support functions to ensure seamless service delivery.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification.

Minimum Experience

  • At least 1 year of banking experience, preferably in a customer-facing or client-handling role.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of personal loan and credit card products, including features, eligibility criteria, and underwriting principles.
  • Good awareness of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape within consumer and retail banking.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment governing banking products, customer onboarding, and credit issuance.
