Oversee release and deployment operations: manage day-to-day deployment activities, lead automation efforts for CI/CD pipelines, and ensure seamless collaboration across development, operations, and other teams.
Conduct risk and impact assessments: identify potential risks and impacts related to releases and deployments, developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships: engage with business units, IT teams, and external vendors, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and vendor compliance with established standards.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs): establish and monitor relevant KPIs, conduct post-release reviews, and generate comprehensive reports to drive continuous improvement in release and deployment processes.
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines: utilize expertise in CI/CD tools, cloud environments, and scripting languages to design, implement, and optimize automated release and deployment pipelines.
Drive strategic planning and policy development: define and implement long-term release and deployment strategies, contributing to overall strategic IT planning and policy development.
