Role Description The Reporter role at ByootBay Resort & Spa is a full-time, on-site position based in Giza. The Reporter is responsible for gathering information, conducting interviews, and producing clear, accurate stories about resort activities, guest experiences, events, and internal initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include researching topics, writing news and feature pieces, preparing multimedia content such as photos or short videos, and collaborating with marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging. The Reporter will maintain high editorial standards, meet deadlines, and adapt coverage to different formats and channels as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Reporting and News Writing skills to cover events and activities accurately and engagingly.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Writing skills to convey information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Candidates should possess Multimedia skills to support stories with visual and digital content when required.
- Candidates should have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Candidates should ideally have prior experience in journalism, communications, or a related field; a relevant degree or training is beneficial.
