Role Description

This full-time, on-site Research and Development (R&D) Chemist / Epoxy Specialist role is based in El-Sadat City, Egypt. The role involves conducting laboratory research, developing and optimizing epoxy-based formulations, testing and improving coatings performance, and supporting product development from lab scale to production. The R&D Chemist will also contribute to quality control, troubleshooting application challenges, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex laboratory data
• Hands-on experience in R&D, epoxy formulation, and laboratory testing
• Expertise in epoxy resins, hardeners, additives, and coatings systems
• Knowledge of quality control practices and industry standards (ISO / ASTM)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Prior experience in coatings, industrial flooring, or construction chemicals.
