Research And Development Engineer

Beko Global is hiring a Structural Design Cooling Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing refrigerator thermal design
• Determining insulation thicknesses,
• Designing specified cooling system elements,
• Evaluating design alternatives based on cost quality and production feasibility.
• Implementing product prototypes, required performance tests and develop the design,
• Resolving issues as related to the designs
• Working with functional teams and suppliers to keep tasks on schedule and meet the design intent specifications.
• To monitor and evaluate the state of the art, Making literature and patent researches, writing academic articles and making patent applications when necessary.
• Implementation of CFD and thermal simulation methods and the integration into existing/emerging engineering development processes.
• Developing test setups and obtain test data for model validation when necessary

Competencies, Education and Other Knowledge/Skills:

.Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,

Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D,

Having strong knowledge of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics.

Having experience of Thermal System background such as Thermodynamics and/or Fluid Dynamics

Having experience on Heat & Mass transfer and System & Component Design & Optimization,

Minimum 3 years of experience in household refrigeration systems,

Having experience in standard and non-standard refrigerator/freezer performance tests,

Having interest in modeling and simulation of cooling systems,

Knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics is a plus

Knowledge of performance and safety regulations

Knowledge of refrigeration components and manufacturing processes,

Having intercultural experience in international teams,

Strong knowledge of MS Office Programs,

Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
