Jollibee EMEAA is looking for a results-driven Research and Development Manager to support product innovation, technology transfer, and process excellence across the region. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, cost-efficient, and compliant products from concept to commercialization while supporting business growth across EMEAA markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead new product development from concept to market launch across EMEAA markets.
- Establish and standardize product formulations, processes, and quality standards within regional guardrails.
- Conduct product technology transfer to commissaries and accredited third-party toll processors.
- Drive product and process improvements for quality, efficiency, manufacturing optimization, and supply sustainability.
- Support supplier development, alternative raw materials and packaging, and supply chain initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance, including food safety, labeling, and country-specific requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver menu architecture and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D) and research skills, including product formulation, testing, and analysis.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in R&D within QSR or food manufacturing
- Candidates should possess project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple R&D initiatives on time and within budget.
- Relevant experience in food service, QSR, or food manufacturing, with a solid understanding of food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in food science.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at different levels.
