Research And Development Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities-

Providing pre and post sales technical and commercial support of products for leading clients, through direct engagement with customers as well as support to the dedicated sales team, agents/distributors network.

Supporting the Sales team with technical data sheets, test data, applicative data of finished formulations containing the Company products and quotation.

Assist in the selection and configuration of standard and customized products, to meet customers application requirements.

Preparing technical brochure, slides, and supportive documents for updating customers, sales organization and distributors network.

Inspect and test Industrial oil and greases as per defined test methods.

Identify & implement new test methods/equipment's locally and as globally accepted.

Analyzing results and correlate data with actual field challenges.

Understand the customer requirements and work on the technical requirement and deliver the solution accordingly.

Ensure all quality checks, testing, validation and cross verifications on products at all stages of process as per defined guidelines, procedures and work instructions.

Maintain all the testing and development records & data.

Can carry out formulation optimizations and pilot blend developments as per the production and technical requirements.

Maintain all laboratory equipment, instruments and accessories and carry out calibrations as specified in calibration schedule.

Carry out periodic stock counting of all laboratory chemicals and to ensure testing activities are not delayed due to unavailability of chemicals, glassware & consumables.

Can ensure proper upkeep of all current test methods with periodic review to update current testing practices as per changes in test methods along with the global team.

Required Qualifications, Skills, or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience can range from 1-5 years in petrochemical/ chemical manufacturing/trading, specialty chemical, lubricant sector.
