Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Specialist (Trainee) to join our team under the Tamheer program. The trainee will gain hands-on experience in product development, testing, and evaluation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support innovation and product improvement initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Support in product development activities, including supplier coordination, sample follow-up, and flavor requests
- Conduct evaluation and testing for new products alongside the R&D team and generate technical reports under the supervision of the Product Developer
- Participate in product developer trials at the plant and attend new product launches to gain practical knowledge
- Prepare product samples in the laboratory for sensory evaluation and tasting
- Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance technical and operational understanding
- Coordinate with the plant for base material requests and prepare documentation for sample shipping and receiving (suppliers or other business units)
- Prepare presentations and reports to summarize findings and progress
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Biotechnology, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Must be eligible for Tamheer Program
