Central Laboratories Unit (CLU) Profile:

The CLU provides analytical and technical support and consultancy to serve the University's research activities and testing needs. It also optimizes and upgrades the practical performance of technical staff and students and provides hands-on experience in the use of analytical instruments at QU.

CLU cultivates strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders, both local and international research institutes, and broader societal entities to enhance collaborative opportunities and drive innovation.

The suitable candidate should have good experience in Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and/or Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and will be responsible for the preparation, operation, and maintenance of advanced electron microscopy systems to support materials characterization, failure analysis, and related research activities. The role involves producing high-quality microstructural, morphological, and compositional data while ensuring accurate interpretation of results and adherence to laboratory safety and quality standards.
