Research Associate Professor in Environmental Management and Policies

The Environmental Science Center (ESC) at Qatar University, the premier national environmental research center in Qatar and the Arabian Gulf region, is seeking to recruit a highly qualified scholar at the rank of Associate Professor in the field of Environmental Management and Policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong research portfolio, proven excellence in teaching, and a distinguished record of academic service. The successful applicant will join an international, interdisciplinary team advancing the ESC's mission in sustainability, climate policy, environmental governance, and resource management.

• Conduct high-quality, innovative research leading to publications in top-tier international journals.

• Secure external and internal research funding and collaborate with colleagues across ESC and Qatar University.

• Teach specialized courses and supervise postgraduate students where needed.

• Build and maintain partnerships with governmental, industry, and community stakeholders.

• Lead and participate in service contracts and consultancy projects offered by the Center.

Academic:

1.A three-year renewable contract.

2.Salary is commensurate with experience.
