- Al Rabie is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to join our Research & Development team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with an engineering background—preferably in Chemical Engineering or Industrial Engineering—who are eager to gain hands-on experience in product development and laboratory operations within the food and beverage industry.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate laboratory and pilot-plant equipment daily in accordance with safety standards and SOPs.
- Conduct routine calibration, verification, and basic maintenance of lab equipment.
- Prepare product batches, trial samples, and formulations based on instructions from the Product Development team.
- Follow precise recipes and procedures to support product development activities.
- Assist in conducting experiments, collecting data, and preparing trial documentation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory environment.
- Handle moderate lifting of ingredients, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of raw materials and finished samples.
Support cross-functional coordination with Quality, Production, and Procurement teams when required
Education, Certification, Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, , or a related technical field.
- Strong technical ability and willingness to learn new equipment and processes.
- Basic understanding of lab safety, laboratory practices, and measurement techniques.
- Ability to follow instructions with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing physical tasks and operating machinery.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
