Responsibilities

This position is for School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS).
Design cryptographic algorithms with research fellow/PI and check security proof.
Implement the designed zero-knowledge proof and MPC.
Benchmark and draft the comparison part of paper.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or closely related disciplines with particular focus on cryptography and/or cybersecurity.
Minimum 4 years of relevant research experience in cryptography.
Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Rust and Python will be positively considered/ is required.
Proven track record and professional experience in cryptography.
Demonstrated experience and know-how on analyze the security of an algorithm.
Excellent working knowledge of zero-knowledge proof.
Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
Applicants with research publications in cryptography/cybersecurity area will be advantageous.
Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
