Role Overview
The Research Executive reviews and codes media coverage using
CARMA and related platforms, filters irrelevant content, validates AI outputs, and ensures data accuracy and quality. The role also supports report writers with organized data and promptly reports any issues.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect and review media coverage and research data from assigned sources
- Identify irrelevant articles and accurately code relevant content in the CARMA portal following guidelines
- Support report writers by providing properly coded and organized data
- Perform basic and medium quality checks to ensure coding accuracy and consistency
- Write AI prompts for coding tasks and apply fixes to outputs as needed
- Use AI tools according to the provided instructions and report any errors or inconsistencies
- Navigate and use Insight, CARMA, and Bodhi portals to complete assigned tasks
- Report research, data, or technical issues clearly and promptly
- Follow CARMA policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Comply with CARMA policies and procedures and support CARMA mission and vision
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the direct manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA) in Languages, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Up to one year of experience
- Excellent proficiency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage
- Strong knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent research skills
- Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
- Use AI tools and review outputs
