| Duties & Responsibilities | | |
| | Role Overview The Research Project Manager will lead and coordinate a portfolio of research projects across multiple research lines within the center. The role focuses on ensuring strategic alignment, efficient execution, and high-quality delivery of research activities, while supporting the center's growth, partnerships, and external engagement. Key Responsibilities - Oversee and manage multiple research projects across the Center for Advanced Materials research lines.
- Contribute to the development of research strategies, plans, and performance targets.
- Develop and implement project management frameworks, including project planning, milestone definition, timeline development, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Act as the technical focal point for all research projects within the center.
- Identify new research opportunities and potential funding sources.
- Prepare competitive research proposals, budgets, and funding applications.
- Lead the preparation and submission of tenders and project offers.
- Support the optimal utilization of research resources and workload distribution.
- Facilitate communication and coordination with Principal Investigators, research teams, and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including scientific, facilities, purchasing, business, and legal teams.
- Ensure the effective organization of project logistics and resource allocation.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with local, regional, and international partners and stakeholders.
- Anticipate and resolve issues related to timelines, scope, resources, and priorities.
- Proactively anticipate, analyze, and manage project risks through structured risk assessment, mitigation planning, and continuous monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures, and quality standards.
- Prepare regular project status reports and executive summaries.
- Develop presentations highlighting the center's research activities, achievements, and outcomes.
- Support the recruitment and professional development of research staff.
- Perform any additional duties required to support the center's mission and objectives.
