University of Prince Murgin (UPM) is looking for a caliber to fill vacancy of Full Time Researcher:

The researcher will be responsible for conducting high-quality research & innovation activities within the research center and research lab. This role involves designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, publishing research findings, and contributing to the overall research objectives of the center, DSRGS and university. Other major duties include supporting the DSRGS in its efforts to boost ongoing funding efforts, collaborations and initiatives as well as supporting research groups. The researcher will collaborate with other faculty members, students, and external partners to advance research initiatives

Major Duties and Responsibilitie

• s:Conduct research & innovation activities including; experiments, surveys, studies, generating hypotheses, analyzing data, and draw conclusions from research finding
• s.Support collaboration and networking opportunities by the center's/lab's researcher
• s.Seek external research funding by writing grant proposals and securing research grants and assist in managing grant-funded projects and meeting project deliverable
• s.Engage in publications and intellectual property development, including preparing research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals/conferences and patent submission
• s.Lead and work within a team in various interdisciplinary project
• s.Mentor students and junior researchers in research methodologies and project execution. Provide guidance and support to research assistants and team member
• s.Adhere to ethical and professional standards including university policies relating to the research activitie
• s.Manages, liaises and coordinates research & innovation projects that are conducted within the research center and its research group
• s.Holds training seminars and workshops relating to research & innovation mentorship, research quality and impact as well as other needed area
• s.Manage and analyze research data using appropriate statistical and analytical tools, a
• ndaccurate and organized records of research processes and outcome
• s.Stay abreast of advancements in the field of specialization and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance research skill

• ce.Minimum of three years of experience in a higher education institution or a research institu
