Job Description


Reservation Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservation department, ensuring efficient handling of bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue.
  • Monitor reservation trends and implement proactive measures to address fluctuations in demand.
  • Train reservation staff on booking procedures, customer service standards, and reservation system usage.
  • Resolve escalated reservation issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Revenue Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and historical data to forecast demand and set pricing strategies.
  • Utilize revenue management tools and systems to optimize room rates and inventory allocation.
  • Prepare revenue reports and performance analysis for management review.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop promotional strategies and packages.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, and finance to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
  • Participate in revenue meetings and contribute to discussions on pricing, distribution channels, and market positioning.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in reservation management and revenue analysis within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera) is preferred.
