To get our guests memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a Reservations Agent who can deliver exceptional service from the very first inquiry. You'll be the voice of our hotel, combining efficiency, accuracy, and a genuine passion for guest experience to ensure every booking journey is seamless from initial contact to final confirmation. Every interaction you handle will reflect our brand standards and leave guests feeling informed, valued, and excited about their stay.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
- Handling guest reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels in a professional and timely manner
- Accurately entering, modifying, and managing bookings in line with hotel standards and procedures
- Providing detailed information about room types, rates, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue opportunities
- Recognizing IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, ensuring their preferences are noted and fulfilled
- Upselling rooms and hotel services where appropriate to enhance the guest experience
- Assisting with group bookings and coordinating with Sales and Front Office teams as required
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Ensuring reservation records, payments, and guest details are accurate and compliant with brand standards
- Supporting the team in achieving occupancy and revenue targets
What we need from you
- Previous experience in reservations, front office, or customer service within hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional telephone manner
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in the local language additional languages are an advantage
- Confidence using reservation systems and basic computer applications
- A guest-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service
