Pre-Opening Team
Tamara Haus is a new lifestyle boutique hotel in Downtown Cairo, created as an artistic, curated house with a strong sense of personality, timelessness, and exceptional guest experience.
As we prepare to open our doors, we are looking for a Reservation Sales Coordinator to join our Pre-Opening Team and help shape the guest journey from the very first interaction.
The Role
The Reservation Sales Coordinator will manage reservations and guest enquiries while maximizing opportunities to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and ensuring every interaction reflects the standards and personality of Tamara Haus.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle individual reservations, enquiries, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
* Respond to telephone, email, website, and other reservation enquiries professionally and promptly.
* Manage reservations accurately through Opera Cloud.
* Maintain accurate guest profiles, preferences, rates, special requests, and booking details.
* Follow up on outstanding enquiries and tentative bookings.
* Apply rates, packages, promotions, and booking policies correctly.
* Identify opportunities to upsell rooms, suites, packages, and additional services.
* Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Revenue, and other departments.
* Communicate VIP, special occasion, and special request information accurately.
* Support revenue and occupancy objectives through effective conversion and upselling.
* Handle reservation-related guest concerns professionally.
* Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of hotel reservations experience.
* Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Opera Cloud.
* Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel is highly preferred.
* Strong knowledge of hotel reservation procedures and systems.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Additional languages are an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Commercial awareness and confidence in upselling.
* Excellent telephone and email communication.
* Strong guest-focused mindset and passion for hospitality.
* Professional attitude, discretion, and reliability.
