Job Purpose:
The Residence Maintenance Engineer will provide technical support for the maintenance, warranty, and operation of a complex ATM system and associated infrastructure. The role will work closely with local maintenance teams and international engineering teams to ensure system reliability and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the installation, configuration, integration, testing, and maintenance of ATM systems and associated equipment.
- Provide first-line technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, networking, and system issues.
- Develop and deliver maintenance procedures and technical instructions for local engineering teams.
- Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel.
- Support software upgrades, releases, problem reports, and hardware repair activities.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement required system changes.
- Support cybersecurity and system maintenance activities.
- Travel to other project sites or overseas for technical support and training when required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience with complex computer systems, including servers, network switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Experience in software configuration and implementation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking and data transmission.
- Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Good command of technical English.
- Experience with ATM systems or TopSky-ATC is highly desirable.
