Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Resident Engineer (Electrical) to join a supervision consultancy team for a major infrastructure development project located approximately
100 km north of Jeddah. The role involves supervising all electrical and related utility works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the electrical supervision activities on site as part of the consultant team.
- Supervise installation and construction of power distribution networks (MV & LV).
- Oversee street lighting systems and associated infrastructure.
- Supervise works related to telecom infrastructure including ducts, chambers, and related systems.
- Coordinate electrical works with other infrastructure utilities such as road networks, water, sewage, stormwater, gas distribution, irrigation, and landscaping.
- Ensure all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and international standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by contractors.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Resolve technical issues on site and coordinate with design teams when required.
- Prepare and review site inspection reports, progress reports, and technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in infrastructure supervision projects with engineering consultancy firms.
- Strong experience in MV/LV power distribution, street lighting, and telecom infrastructure.
- Experience coordinating electrical works within multi-utility infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and site management skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
