About the Job

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the Engineering & Facilities function, setting strategy, objectives, and performance standards aligned with hotel and brand goals to deliver operational excellence and exceptional guest experiences.
• Oversee all engineering operations, including preventive maintenance, energy management, technical services, and compliance with JEMS, health, safety, environmental, fire, life safety, and HACCP standards.
• Direct capital projects, renovations, and facilities upgrades, ensuring timely execution, cost control, quality delivery, and adherence to design and safety specifications.
• Manage departmental budgets, financial performance, and cost-control initiatives while driving sustainability programs focused on energy efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental stewardship.
• Partner with key hotel functions, including Rooms Division, F&B, Housekeeping, and Security, to provide seamless engineering support for daily operations, guest services, and events.
• Lead and develop the Engineering & Facilities team through talent management, succession planning, training, performance monitoring, continuous improvement initiatives, and resolution of escalated technical issues while contributing to hotel-wide strategy and executive decision-making.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Health & Safety certification preferred.
• Leadership and Project Management certifications are an advantage.
• 8–10 years experience in Engineering & Facilities Management within luxury hospitality.
• Proven expertise in capital projects and multi-system technical operations.
