JASARA PMC is seeking proactive and skilled Resident Engineers (Expression of Interest) to enhance our project delivery capabilities. As a Resident Engineer, you will play a vital role in managing construction projects, ensuring they are executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead the on-site management of construction activities, ensuring that all work is performed according to project specifications and timelines
- Engage with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate effective communication and resolve any project-related issues
- Conduct regular project inspections and audits to maintain quality control and compliance with safety standards
- Assess construction progress and prepare comprehensive progress reports for project stakeholders
- Review technical documentation, including drawings and specifications, and provide feedback on design-related concerns
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, making recommendations for adjustments as needed
- Foster a culture of safety and compliance among all project personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of extensive experience in construction and project management
- Proficient knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
- Track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing circumstances
- Experience with project management software and advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is advantageous
