Job Summary:
We are seeking an exceptional Resident Engineer with relevant years of experience to join our Supervision Project Delivery Team in Abu Dhabi. This key role involves leading the post-contract construction supervision team, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget while maintaining contractual compliance.
Responsibilities:
The role covers the following responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Supervision of the site engineers and the inspectors working on the construction supervision.
- Responsible for reviewing all shop drawings, design proposals, method statements, any requests for information relating to the drainage and associated works.
- Demonstrating extensive knowledge and experience in the execution of civil building projects.
- Ability to make senior-level project decisions and liaise with applicable authorities.
- Coordinate his direct activities with the other disciplines to maintain consistency and integrity in the overall construction
- Coordinate with the Contractor on scheduling and application of resources
- Act as the main point of contact between the engineering consultancy and the client.
- Regularly communicate project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Familiar with Abu Dhabi regulations General Conditions of the Contract
- Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project.
Requirements:
- Only the candidates available in UAE with UAE experience may apply
- Experience working with Engineering consultants within UAE with supervision projects is a must.
- Excellent written and communication skills (English), time management, and supervisory skills
- Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
- Manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts and contract administration
- Experience in Submittal administration/Site supervision/Team Management and manage technical issues.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
