Job Description

Trump International, Dubai is a luxury golf club in the heart of Dubai's DAMAC Hills. The club features an 18-hole Championship Standard Course, a 9-hole floodlit par 3 course and a variety of world-class amenities that cater to every member of the family.

Trump International Golf Club is looking for Restaurant Captain to join their dynamic team.

Job Purpose:

The Restaurant Captain plays a lead role in ensuring the smooth operation of the golf club's dining service by coordinating front-of-house staff and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction. Acting as the key point of contact between members, service staff, and management, the Captain ensures that each guest experience reflects the club's Trump Golf service standards and hospitality values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily floor operations during service hours, including lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Welcome and interact with members and guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Supervise and assist servers, bartenders, and bussers during meal service to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Assign tables and service sections to servers and manage table turnovers.
  • Conduct pre-service briefings to communicate daily specials, VIP guests, and special requests.
  • Provide on-the-job guidance to staff and ensure adherence to service protocols.
  • Address and resolve any service issues or member complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and make adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain a visible, approachable presence on the floor.
  • Ensure that dining areas, bar, and service stations are clean, stocked, and ready before service begins.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely delivery of food and drinks.
  • Assist with setups for tournaments, banquets, and private events as directed.
  • Ensure all staff comply with club policies, hygiene standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor proper handling of food and beverages in accordance with health codes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant service role, with at least 1 year in a lead or captain position
  • Experience in a golf club, country club, or upscale hospitality environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an asset
  • Food Safety and Responsible Alcohol Service Certification
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during club events
  • Additional hours may be necessary during peak golf season or large events.
  • Indoor dining facilities, club lounge, patio/terrace areas, and event spaces.
  • Occasional outdoor work during tournaments or patio service.
  • High-end, member-focused hospitality setting with an emphasis on professionalism and discretion.
