Restaurant General Manager

Fundamental Hospitality is looking to hire an experienced RestaurantGeneral Manager to join our team at Shanghai Me in Dubai.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager within high-end restaurant concepts.
• Previous experience in Pan-Asian dining concepts will be considered a strong advantage.
• Experience leading large teams in high volume restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication skills in English, additional languages will be advantageous.
• Deep industry insight into culinary trends, hospitality innovations, and evolving customer expectations within the premium dining segment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and suppliers effectively.
• A passion for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience for guests.

• Familiarity with food safety regulations, restaurant operations, and current trends in the food and beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring they perform their duties effectively and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, monitoring service quality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and analyze sales data to meet revenue goals. This includes developing business plans and financial objectives.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers and boost sales, including community engagement and advertising initiatives.
