The Role

As a Restaurant Manager, your role is to serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by leading the operations of a specific restaurant or outlet to maximize customer satisfaction, employee performance, and business results.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Restaurant Manager, you will need to:

  • Ensure a professional and profitable operation within the framework of the Hotel.
  • Collaborate with the hotel training manager to identify training needs, develop, and deliver essential training for department employees to meet business requirements. Support the training of the Departmental Trainers to improve hotel service quality consistently.
  • Maintain departmental budget goals by managing profits through increased sales revenue and the efficient cost expenditure.
  • Forecast business demands accurately to ensure efficient staffing & food production.
  • Responsible for all accounting and billing procedures in the outlets.
  • Collaborate with hotel management to create and implement strategies for marketing the outlet. Stay informed about all Red Sea Global Hospitality Guest Incentive programs and actively endorse and assist with them.
  • Manage the scheduling of employees in the outlet efficiently and oversee the time control system accurately.
  • Responsible for conducting all employee reviews and appraisals professionally and promptly.
  • Provide training to managers and supervisors on effective coaching and counseling, as well as the proper procedure for progressive discipline.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Manage assets for all outlet properties and facilities, including conducting routine preventative maintenance inspections.
  • Promote positive inter-departmental relations through open communication and cooperation.
  • Above all, to lead by example through a hands-on approach to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Perform any additional duties as required for operational smoothness.
