The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the overall daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth coordination between front and back of house teams. The role focuses on delivering excellent guest service, maintaining food quality standards, managing staff performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies, hygiene, and safety regulations. The Supervisor acts as the key link between service and kitchen teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations covering both service and kitchen areas
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and handle guest complaints or feedback professionally
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure quality and consistency
  • Monitor staff attendance, grooming, performance, and discipline
  • Train, guide, and motivate team members to meet operational standards
  • Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are strictly followed
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and minimize waste
  • Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and POS system operations
  • Support opening and closing procedures of the restaurant
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding operational issues and performance
  • Act as Manager-on-Duty when required

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant supervision or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including both FOH and BOH
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
  • Basic computer and POS system skills
