Role Description The Restaurant Supervisor (Arabic speaker) at Autograph Collection in Doha, Qatar is a full-time, on-site role responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring smooth, efficient service. This role includes supervising team members, coordinating shifts, monitoring service standards, and supporting staff in delivering an excellent guest experience. The Restaurant Supervisor will interact with guests in Arabic and English, handle inquiries or concerns, and promote a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Key tasks include assisting with reservations, managing tables, overseeing food and beverage presentation, and supporting training and performance feedback for the restaurant team. The role also involves maintaining hygiene and safety standards, collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house teams, and helping drive customer satisfaction and revenue goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task delegation, and supporting staff performance.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on delivering attentive, responsive, and guest-centered hospitality.
  • Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills, with fluency in Arabic and good command of English.
  • Candidates should possess Food & Beverage knowledge, including menu familiarity, service standards, and basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices.
  • Previous experience in restaurant or hotel food and beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Formal hospitality or restaurant management education is an advantage but not required; equivalent experience will be considered.
