Supervise and oversee daily front-of-house operations, always ensuring consistently high service standards and an exceptional guest experience.
Lead, coordinate, and support the service team (waiters, runners, hosts) during service to ensure smooth floor operations and optimal table turnover.
Manage floor sections, table assignments, and service flow in line with reservations, walk-ins, and business levels.
Actively engage with guests, anticipating needs, handling feedback or complaints professionally, and resolving issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ensure all team members demonstrate strong menu and beverage knowledge, confidently upselling and providing informed recommendations to guests.
Uphold and enforce the restaurant's service standards, grooming standards, and SOPs across all shifts.
Monitor service quality, timing, and coordination with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless delivery of food and beverages.
Support onboarding and training of new team members, including service standards, menu knowledge, POS usage, and guest engagement etiquette.
Coach, motivate, and provide on-the-job guidance to the service team to maintain morale, discipline, and performance consistency.
Ensure clear communication of daily briefings, specials, promotions, VIP notes, and operational updates to the team.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented dining area, ensuring correct table setups, mise-en-place, and service readiness at all times.
Assist in cash handling, billing accuracy, and end-of-shift closing procedures as per company policies.
Coordinate closely with the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager on staffing, shift coverage, guest feedback, and operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards within the front-of-house areas.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a premium casual / fine dining restaurant environment, with prior supervisory or senior service role exposure.
Strong leadership and people-management skills, with the ability to guide, coach, and influence teams on the floor.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in guest interaction and team coordination.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing service flow during peak business periods.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and service consistency.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
A positive attitude, passion for hospitality, and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.
Proficiency in POS systems and basic operational reporting (advantageous).
