Job Summary:
The Restaurant/Beach Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurant and beach service areas, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires a dynamic, organized, and guest-oriented professional who can lead a team, coordinate between departments, and uphold KYMA Beach Restaurant's premium standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant and beach operations to ensure smooth service.
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to maintain high levels of professionalism, efficiency, and hospitality.
- Ensure that all food and beverage services meet quality, presentation, and hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage supplies, and assist with cost control measures.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and courteously.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all operational areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and events teams for seamless service delivery.
- Assist in scheduling staff, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting staff development.
- Implement and uphold restaurant policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support special events, private functions, and seasonal promotions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in restaurant or beach operations, with at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of food, beverage, and beach service operations.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage guest expectations professionally.
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and cost control.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in high-end beach or fine-dining restaurants.
- Hospitality or supervisory certification is an advantage.
