Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and configure POS machines and consumer finance payment systems, while creating and linking payment method accounts for branches and cashiers on the system.
  • Review and reconcile sales transactions and payment method balances against actual operations, and report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Monitor cash discrepancies, bank deposits, and bank commissions, ensuring accurate recording and settlement on the system.
  • Follow up on balances and settlements with consumer finance companies and coordinate regarding pending transactions or delayed payments.
  • Ensure all payment method accounts are properly reconciled and over cash amounts are transferred to designated accounts.
  • Provide daily operational support to branches and coordinate with internal departments such as Stock Control to resolve operational and reconciliation issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a retail or commercial environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Good understanding of POS systems, various payment methods, bank transactions, and account reconciliations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, knowledge of Odoo ERP is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
