Job Purpose To lead the development and execution of retail marketing plans that drive in-store performance, enhance brand visibility, and grow sales across pharmacy and retail channels. The role works closely with commercial, sales, and brand teams to deliver impactful activations, support product launches, and ensure a strong and consistent customer experience at the point of sale.
Accountabilities
- Develop and execute retail marketing strategies that drive footfall, in-store conversion, and sales growth across pharmacy and retail locations.
- Plan and implement in-store activations, promotional campaigns, and brand initiatives to increase product visibility and shelf performance.
- Lead product launch activities in-store, including planogram development, display execution, and launch promotional mechanics.
- Design and evaluate channel-specific marketing plans tailored to the retail and pharmacy environment.
- Drive the promotion of in-house and partner brands across pharmacy branches through targeted in-store and digital retail activations.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with branch targets and ensure on-ground execution is consistent and effective.
- Monitor sell-through data, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and refine in-store strategy.
- Collaborate with Sales, Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Brand teams to ensure smooth execution of all retail marketing initiatives.
- Support staff engagement through product training, brand education sessions, and in-store competition mechanics to drive recommendation at point of sale.
- Plan and manage retail events, brand days, and in-store activations to strengthen brand presence and drive customer engagement.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific field.
Experience
7–15 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical marketing or a similar field.
Languages
Fluency in Arabic and English.
