Retail Operations Manager- Libya
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee all retail operations in Libya. The successful candidate will manage retail distribution channels, company-owned retail stores, and sales teams, ensuring operational excellence, achievement of sales targets, and effective reporting to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all retail operations across Libya, including stores and distribution activities
- Supervise, guide, and motivate sales staff and retail teams to ensure high performance
- Ensure achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor store performance, sales reports, inventory levels, and operational standards
- Develop and implement sales strategies to improve revenue and market coverage
- Conduct regular store visits and performance evaluations
- Prepare monthly performance reports and present results to management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards
- Coordinate with management on expansion plans and operational improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in retail operations, sales management, or distribution management
- Proven experience managing multiple retail stores and sales teams
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
- Excellent analytical and reporting abilities
- Fluent in both English and Arabic (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel within Libya
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG, fashion, F&B, or branded retail
- Experience working with international brands or structured retail environments
- Knowledge of Libyan retail market added advantage
