Revenue Controller | Abu Dhabi (15-Month Contract)
An international law firm is seeking a Revenue Controller to join their finance function on a 15-month contract in Abu Dhabi.
This is a key role supporting partners and fee earners in driving accurate, timely, and compliant revenue across multiple practice groups within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end billing and WIP cycle, ensuring timely and accurate revenue generation
- Partner closely with fee earners and partners to finalise billing and resolve queries
- Review and refine time entries, narratives, and matter data for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure billing aligns with client requirements and regional VAT/tax regulations
- Support e-billing, revenue reporting, and performance analysis across matters and teams
- Act as a key liaison between finance, partners, and clients on all billing matters
- Maintain accurate records within legal billing systems
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Revenue Controller / Billing professional within an international law firm
- Strong exposure to partner-facing roles and complex billing environments
- Understanding of WIP management, billing cycles, and revenue processes
- Familiarity with UAE VAT / regional billing considerations
- Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills
