Revenue Management Specialist - Abu Dhabi - UAEN
Job Purpose :
Support in collection and analysis of data to help optimize revenue streams across the museums.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Assist with the planning and deployment of systems and processes to manage and analyse financial data and other records.
- Support in the assessment and prompt collection of revenue and taxes under control of the business, ensuring maximizing its revenue collection potential.
- Work closely with the museums assets custodians to ensure proper controls, contractual terms, processes are in place to enhance revenue generation.
- Support in the process of impact studies and scenario analysis on revenue initiatives and activities.
- Provide submissions to regulatory bodies and other stakeholders related to revenue generation activities.
- Record of all the museums revenue in line with approved policies and procedures IPSAS and Abu Dhabi Government guidelines. Ensuring prompt collection.
- Support in the the preparation of financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses.
- Support in assessing investments and partnership activities to enhance short- and long-term financial sustainability.
Budgeting and financial planning
- Contribute to the preparation and recommend the unit's budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget while ensuring all sectional activities are conducted in line with the approved guidelines.
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Ensure effective implementation of functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned section activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
Shared Activities
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager.
- Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Demonstrate compliance to organization's values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
