Lynchpin Technologies is a Canadian based company currently accepting resumes for a Rig Electrician in a long-term international rotational assignment. This position works 28 days on and 28 days off, with 12 hour shifts and will rotate to and from The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The position involves the maintenance and repair of rig instrumentation, control and electrical systems. Initially the role will include the assembly, troubleshooting and commissioning of the drilling rig prior to deployment of the rig to the field. Once the rig is deployed to the field the role will transition to a long -term international rotational assignment.
Job Accountabilities
- Perform rig maintenance as Lynchpin's Maintenance Management system
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues
- Assist Control Systems Group with troubleshooting controls issues
- Assist with training new rig personnel on the operation of equipment
- Assist rig personnel with rig moves or other tasks when required
- Update maintenance records in CMMS (computer maintenance management systems) after equipment repair, PM, Inspection or troubleshooting
- Assist with/suggest system improvements to Raptor Rig engineering groups.
- Assist Maintenance Manager with root cause analysis for equipment failures
- Development of discipline specific Standard Operation Procedures for the rig
Skills Required
- Allen Bradley ControlLogix experience
- Hydraulic system electrical component experience
- Allen Bradley VFD experience
- DSE Genset Controller experience
- Experience in the Drilling and/or Coil Tubing Drilling industries
- International travel experience supporting operations
Key Attributes
- Journeyman Electrician
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Valid passport and ability to travel Internationally
- Access to international airport
- Microsoft Office Suite familiarity
