The Risk Manager will lead the development, implementation, and oversight of the project's risk management framework. This role is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across all project phases to ensure successful delivery of the Rua Ajyad development. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in large-scale or complex project environments, with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the project's risk management plan, processes, and reporting structure
- Identify potential project risks, including technical, financial, operational, and schedule-related risks
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk assessments and maintain the project risk register
- Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement mitigation strategies
- Monitor risk trends, evaluate emerging risks, and recommend proactive measures
- Facilitate risk workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs
- Prepare regular risk reports and dashboards for project leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, client requirements, and industry best practices
- Support decision-making by providing clear risk insights and scenario analyses
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in risk management within relevant project scopes (construction, infrastructure, or mega projects)
- Strong understanding of risk management methodologies, tools, and international standards
- Proven experience working on large-scale or complex developments
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., PMI-RMP, ISO 31000) are an advantage
- Saudi nationals are preferred
